Power Muse Productions is a music agency located in Southern California that provides Greek entertainment to the West Coast. As a company that takes pride in its cultural roots, the company requires a logo that speaks to who they are as people of Greek decent their passion to bring famous Greek singers and entertainers to America for everyone to enjoy.
The ram portrays the essence of the owner of the company and symbolizes the impactful music that this company brings to California. To capture the company's Greek culture and background, elements from Ancient Greek art are used to adorn the space around the ram and reflect the company's sophistication and its connection to heritage. The Greek key is illustrated into a circle to mirror how it adorned the shields of warriors in Ancient Greek history and also to connect to the shape of a record as music and entertainment is their highlighted product.
Considering the previous logo, the company looked to keep the same theme through the element of the ram and purple hues. Approaching the redesign, Greek elements were brought in to compliment the marriage of the "PMP" acronym and the shape of the ram. Once addressing this in first three samples, it was decided to abandon the previous layout of the logo and use different approaches to reflect the company's brand. Greek elements are created with simple shapes to modernize the brand as it exists within the highly competitive music industry and this approach channels the youthful experience of attending one of the Power Muse concerts.
